(CQNEWS) Recently, there are more than 10 million citizens participating in the civil medical insurance in Chongqing, according to the Office of Chongqing Cooperative Medical Insurance yesterday. 

　  Among the 21 districts and counties newly added for “civil medical insurance” trials this year, 17 have managed to provide medical treatment and payment by this insurance. 

　  “Civil medical insurance”, or cooperative medical insurance for urban and rural citizens, allows the old, minors and other residents without any medical insurance to participate in.
