(CQNEWS) The folk custom eco-tourism in southeast Chongqing is welcomed by tourists in the last few days of the holiday, according to Chongqing Holiday Office yesterday.

　  Wulong, Qianjiang, Youyang, Shizhu, Xiushan, Pengshui districts and counties of southeast Chongqing attract the tourists by Wujiang and Wuling tourism areas.

　  The scenic spot in Wulong County was a part of “The Karsts in southern China”, which is listed in the world natural heritage. In the first 5 days of the holiday, averagely 18,000 tourists visited Wulong County everyday, up 38 percent year-on-year.

　  Meanwhile, Xiaonanhai and Apengjiang tourism areas in Qianjiang District daily received 10,000 person-times of tourists on average, up 30 percent year-on-year.

　  Shizhu, Youyang, Xiushan, Pengshui counties are building folk-custom eco-tourism areas such as Huangshui Forest Park, Gongtan Ancient Town, Hong’an Border Town and Ayi River. (Translated by Huang Xiaolu)
