  • Monkey cries come back to Qutang Gorge
    2008-10-09 15:41:07

(CQNEWS) ¡°Monkey cries were heard on either bank all through the way£¬while the boat passed by mountains swiftly in a row¡± is the classic written by Chinese poet¡ªLi Bai when he travelled through the Three Gorges generations ago. And now 80 monkeys are imported into Qutang Gorge area, that is to say, the scenery of ¡°Monkey cries were heard on either bank all through the way¡± will come back to Qutang Gorge again.
¡¡  The 80 monkeys settled at the entrance of Qutang Gorge presently are imported from Qianling Park in Guizhou Province. Because they have received special trainings, so their intimacies to tourists make themselves very popular. Special ¡°cry trainings¡± will be further made to them so as to let the scenery of ¡°Monkey cries were heard on either bank all through the way¡± come back and become a feature in the Three Gorges.
¡¡  Although the scenery of ¡°Monkey cries were heard on either bank all through the way¡± has been away for long with environment changes, with its turning better at present, more monkeys will be imported to restore ecological balance in the area and to make the monkey cries come back to the gorge for tourists¡¯ demands.(Translated by Zhang Yi)
