（CQNEWS）Recently, nearly 2 million red-leaf trees along the Yangtze River and Daning River in Wushan County, Chongqing are sprayed with a special customized fertilizer which is beneficial for the growth.

　  Due to the ecological damage and soil & water loss in recent decades, red leaves are rare to see on this infertile land, although Three Gorges, the famous tourist attraction in western China, featured them in history.

　  Having known the importance of tourism to the economy, Wushan decided to create a landscape of red-leaf belt to attract the tourists by improving the vegetation and spraying a special customized fertilizer to spur the growth.

　  An export said that the fertilizer which contains various helpful elements will be sprayed in spring and autumn respectively.

　  In addition, protection measures such as hiring guardians and setting protection areas for the red-leaf trees will be taken, plus 1 billion yuan’s investment will be injected to 200 thousand mu’s new plants on both sides of the Yangtze River and Daning River.

　  “Three Gorges will feature the red-leaf trees again,” said a responsible person in Chongqing Forestry Bureau. The scenery of red leaves all over the mountain will be soon come back to the tourists after the fertilizer has been sprayed, he expected. (Translated by Zhang Yi)
