(CQNEWS) From 2008-2012, Chongqing will invest 300 billion yuan to construct the express ways connecting to the surrounding six capital cities and three marine outfalls, and improve the inner transportation so as to realize the convenient transportation for logistics and citizens, according to Chongqing Development and Reform Commission on Nov. 13. 

　  These funds will deal with the following three aspects:

　  100 billion yuan for construction of expressways. By 2012, Chongqing will have formed the basic railway network and realized the railway operation 1500km. 

　  100 billion yuan for the citywide road network. By 2012, Chongqing will have constructed 2100km expressway reaching all districts and counties except Chengkou County. 

　  100 billion yuan for improving the transportation in urban areas. With the target of “30 min through inner ring, 60 min through outer ring”, Chongqing will focus its attention on the construction of city railway network, city road network, transferring hubs and public transportation stations.
