¡¡ (CQNEWS) Chongqing has got 400 million yuan loan from the World Bank to construct over 2,000 fundamental medical and health service organizations, according to Chongqing Health Bureau on Nov. 16.
¡¡ The primary examination of ¡°World Bank Loan for Fundamental Medical Organization project under the Chongqing Rural and Urban Areas Balanced Development and Reform Project¡± has been finished by the Chongqing Heath Bureau.
¡¡ And this loan will be used to assist 38 districts and counties (autonomous counties) to establish 80 city community health centers, 400 city community health stations, 120 town health centers and 2,000 village health offices.
¡¡ The 549 projects in Wanzhou, Fuling and Tongliang, as the 1st batch for demonstration, will be initiated in 2010.
